Pastors Terry & Connie Cross

Terry and Connie met in San Antonio, TX in 1969, when Terry was in the United States Air Force, and he attended the Southside Church of God, where Connie's dad was the pastor.   Terry served in the USAF for four years, including one year in Southeast Asia, in Thailand (1970-1971), and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal.  He has a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies.   Terry has served for multiple terms on the Texas Church of God State Council, as well as a number of years on the State Youth Board and State Evangelism Board.  He is currently the State CAMS (Calling and Ministry Studies) Coordinator for Texas. 

Terry and Connie have pastored several churches in the state of Texas, and pioneered New Vision Family Worship Center in San Antonio, TX in 1989, and pastored there for over fifteen years.

They have a beautiful family!  Their daughter, Michelle, is married to Gabe Atchison, and they have three sons, Zachary, Aiden, and Spencer.  Their daughter, Janelle, is married to Paul Newton, and they have four sons, Jacob, Joseph, Joshua, and Jonathan.   Their family is very precious to them!

In addition to serving as the Music and Worship Pastor at Walnut Creek, Connie serves as a Clinic & Research Director for a leading vascular surgery group in Dallas.  Her clinical research career has opened up many opportunities for her, including the opportunity to speak at research conferences in Baltimore, Chicago, San Antonio, Nashville, and San Diego, Denver, and New York.

With a love for people and for ministry, they share God's love to the people God brings to their lives!  They love their Walnut Creek Church family and look forward to meeting everyone God sends to the church!
